I have worked in a variety of backgrounds including the police service, medical business management, welfare, youth counselling, and pastoring a Presbyterian church. I have also been registered as a psychologist since 1990, and have postgraduate degrees in psychology, business, counselling, theology and divinity. I currently work as part-time Assistant to the Minister at Wyndham Presbyterian church.
I counsel a wide range of individual therapeutic issues, and have specialist training in couple counselling, including premarital programs (Prepare Enrich). My therapeutic approach is eclectic, integrating aspects of psycho-dynamic, family system, and cognitive behaviour therapies. I am committed to practicing within a framework and manner consistent with biblical Christianity. I see clients with a wide range of therapeutic issues in a non-discriminatory manner. However my niches are couple counselling and or clients who prefer counselling from a biblical perspective.
